- Ethanol is alcohol. It is a clean burning, renewable product made from Australian agriculture such as wheat, sugar cane, Sorghorn and corn.
- E10 is interchangeable with fossil petrol, in fact all unleaded petrol in Australia must conform to national fuel quality regulations, e10 is no different, so if e10 is not available, just fill up with fossil petrol.
- In Australia ethanol can be blended into petrol at a regulated maximum level of 10%, commonly called e10. In the united states and brazil higher ethanol blends ranging from 85% to 100% ethanol content are used in flexible fuel vehicles.
